Armani is and so are American companies (Strauss, Gap, Nike and Marks & Spencer) doing business in Italy.
According to Gabriella Foglio, an activist with Italy's biggest environmental group, Legambiente “..not all companies are willing to renovate themselves to reduce their environmental impact. There isn't a strong market in Italy for selling eco-fashion, or consumers who can pay more for 'green' clothing," she said.
